Mark Rowe

Mark Rowe is a co-founder of Pentest Ltd a leading UK based security consultancy. He has been working in IT for twelve years, the last nine of which have been spent working as an IT Security consultant. Mark has specialised in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, carrying out work for a wide range of clients including utilities, government agencies, financial institutions, and retail organisations. The work has ranged from source code audits right through to vulnerability assessments of large networks containing hundreds of servers.

Mark is an active security researcher and has worked with software and hardware vendors such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Widcomm and Nokia to identify and fix security vulnerabilities in their products. Mark's current research project concerns vulnerabilities in Bluetooth enabled mobile devices.

Mark was also major contributor to the SANS institute's Oracle Step-by-Step security guide.
