Joshua Wright
Josh has been involved with wireless hacking projects since 1997 when
the first 802.11 hardware started to ship. Focusing on wireless
intrusion detection and vulnerability assessment projects, Josh has
enjoyed disclosing protocol and design vulnerabilities while writing
open-source software to help organizations identify and evaluate their
wireless networking weaknesses. Recently, Josh has disclosed
vulnerabilities in the Oracle database authentication mechanism, as well
as weaknesses in the IEEE 802.11i/WPA specification.
When not looking for protocol vulnerabilities, Josh is a volunteer
incident handler for the Internet Storm Center, and a senior instructor
for the SANS Institute. In his spare time, Josh teaches Tae Kwon Do,
studies Aiki-Jutsu and spends time with his family.
